You must be admitted to Angelo State to have access to our over 600 scholarship opportunities. If you are admitted after the priority deadline(s), you will be considered for scholarships to the extent funds are available.

Pay your $50 non-refundable application fee.

Submit your high school transcript and other required documents.

If you have already taken the ACT or SAT or plan to take either test, we encourage you to submit your scores to us.

You are guaranteed admission into Angelo State if you are graduating from an accredited high school and meet one of the following qualifications:

Dual Credit: Students who have completed at least six hours of ASU dual credit courses with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will receive automatic admission to ASU.

In addition to meeting the above standardized test score or GPA requirements, the 德克萨斯州 requires applicants to fulfill one of the following criteria:

If you are a private school student, submit the Texas Private High School Certification -OR-
If you are a private school student or have earned your GED, satisfy ACT College Readiness Benchmark scores (English: 18, 数学:22, 阅读:22, and Science: 23) -OR- earn a SAT (old test) composite score of at least 1500 (out of a possible 2400) -OR- earn a SAT (new test) score of 480 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 530 Math.

If you are a homeschool student and present evidence of completing a nontraditional secondary education without an official class rank, you will have a class rank assigned by the Office of 招生. This process is in accordance with Texas Senate Bill 1543. 的 class rank will be comparable to the average class rank of applicants with equivalent ACT or SAT scores.

After you have been assigned a class rank, you will be admitted if you meet the requirements. All other applications will go through a file review.

Official college transcripts and/or Advanced Placement scores must be submitted in order to receive earned credit. Fall applicants are encouraged to submit official college transcripts in January showing all dual credit coursework completed up to that point. A final college transcript should be submitted following completion of all dual credit coursework prior to advising.
